About My Wedding Cakes
Your wedding day will be filled special moments, and one of them will be the first time you see your wedding cake. It’s important that you feel a sense of joy and excitement when you lay your eyes on it, and even more so when you take that first delicious bite.
My design style is elegant, romantic and timeless. I love creating beautiful fondant wedding cakes, adorned with realistic sugar flowers.
My designs feature sharp edges, multiple tiers, textural elements such as ruffles and stencil detailing with pops of colour to draw in your guests. My goal for each of my couples is to create a wedding cake that blends in seamlessly with your wedding style, is a work of art in terms of design and tastes absolutely delicious.
Based in Monifieth near Dundee I deliver wedding cakes to a large number of venues across Scotland and am a recommended and trusted supplier at some of the very best hotels and venues in Fife, Perthshire, Tayside and Edinburgh.
I work with a maximum of two couples per week so you are guaranteed my undivided attention. I want to make the best wedding cake for you so I will listen to all of your ideas and want to know all about your wedding plans.

Pippa designed our cake for our wedding day at Pratis Barns in Fife. We wanted a bridal looking cake with a hint of Harry Potter and Autumn so quite specific! Pippa was incredible from start to finish and was very excited to get started on our cake which kept the excitement going for us too!

The booking process

Step 1.
As soon as your venue and date are confirmed, contact me and I can confirm if I have availability. It's useful for you to provide me with a general idea of the kind of style of wedding cake you'd like so I can make sure I'm the right wedding cake designer for you.
Step 2.
Secure your date by paying a £100 non refundable booking fee. Don’t worry if you’re unsure of the exact design of cake you’d like at this stage, the booking fee is just to make sure you get your wedding cake booked in.
Step 3.
Approximately 6-9 months from your wedding date, we will meet for a consultation at my home studio in Monifieth near Dundee, to discuss and agree the design of your cake and your flavour choices. This is strictly for two people only. I will sketch your cake so you can get an idea for what it will look like and I will also give you the final costing for it.
Step 4.
Six weeks before your big day is when your remaining balance is due. A few days before your wedding I will contact you to let you know I am on schedule with your cake and also liaise directly with your venue to arrange delivery. I set up and deliver all of my wedding cakes to ensure everything is perfect. You don't need to do anything apart from enjoy your day and make sure you get a piece of your cake.
